- Core editing and PDF utilities run locally in the browser or on-device; documents are not uploaded to Hindi PDF Editor servers.
- Devanagari text is shaped via a browser/HTML print pipeline so conjuncts, matras, and reph stay correct.
- Translate sends detected source lines through a secured Gemini proxy only after an explicit action; both Hindi → English and English → Hindi are supported.
- Optional AI OCR sends the selected page image through the same proxy. The Gemini key stays server-side and is never requested from users.
- Exports always create a new PDF; the source file is never overwritten.
- Free on web; Android app available on Google Play.
